"Mamooli Crickter” Vs. “A Chaprasi"

Once upon a time there were two persons (A and B) working for two different companies and engaged in selling similar products for their companies. In a bid for outselling each other a grueling talk took place between them. In the process of the debate A said that B’s caliber is of such a stature that he would not even hire B as his “Chaprasi - Peon, or Orderly”. B responded in the same talk that A was a “Mamooli Crickter – A cricketer of a small level”. Totally ignoring their previous conflict later on somehow both A and B joined hands together to sell the same products under slightly different contracts to accomplish somewhat common objectives.

To fulfill their newly set targets the so-called peon giving a piece of advice to the cricketer said that if he acted upon his advice he would be instrumental in raising him to the highest echelons of the company’s hierarchy because of his tremendous influence. The poor cricketer was so much obsessed with the idea of an instantaneous success that he failed to assess the designs of B. B, however, tried his best to fulfill his designs and influence but miserably failed. Because A was so much boastful and unrealistic in setting his targets that were impossible to achieve, now he is contemplating on demolishing the very ‘Office’ which he has been cherishing to hold for a long time. A was otherwise competent enough to hold that coveted office. Had he not set so ambitious and impossible target in a short span of time and waited for a reasonable period of time he might have accomplish that objective. He must remember that the offices and the institutions will continue to live and function for a long time but a person who thinks of demolishing it dies its death in no time and nobody will ever remember him.
