The Government must not Accept Resignation of the PM for one Month

The talks between PTI and the government leadership have ended in a deadlock. The PTI leadership demands the resignation of the prime minister for one month only. Whatever the motive of the PTI may be this demand is based on frivolous and unjustified. If the prime minister resigns for one month the PTI will take it as a punishment and it is a known fact that any sort of punishment cannot be awarded before trial. PTI will take it as a punishment or an execution on the basis of which they will demand rendering any office by the PM illegal. They will raise tremendous hue and cry and will not allow the prime minister to come back to his office. Therefore it is the only time that the government should categorically refuse to accept such demand.

Leadership only through Democratic Struggle

Revert to the umbrella of democracy in a press conference today August 24, 2014 by the ex-president Asif Ali Zardari he expressed his views that democracy is the best place for making a struggle and achieving a leadership position. He told that Ms Benazir Bhutto continued her struggle for democracy with only 17 seats in the national assembly. She never ever thought of acting against the norms of democracy and making hue and cry of dhandhli etc. Mr. Zardari is indirectly trying to advise Mr. Imran Khan to come to the fold of democracy. There is no any second way for Imran Khan to reach a level which he has been aspiring for. Not even the third umpire which he is so desperately waiting for.

It is never too late for Imran Khan to cease most of his undemocratic and unconstitutional demands and start a fresh towards a right place. He cannot afford losing so many friends and followers which he has made in the span of 18 years and is quickly losing now.

Sad End to Imran Khan’s political career

It is not cricket. Cricket is known to be the game of nobles and fair play. Imran Khan, instead of trying to play well and leading his team to play well, is totally deviating from the norms of fair play. He is solely relying on the third umpire to raise his finger in his favour. It is neither ‘inqalab’ nor ‘Insaf’ (justice). It is not democratic either.  In democracy decisions have to be made in consultation of all the members of the team within the democratic norms set by the society but Imran Khan is the sole decision maker of all the major things and he mostly uses the world ‘I’ instead of we. For example, one day he announced that he thought for about twelve hours and then had gone to decide he is going to start civil disobedience movement against the government. What does it mean? Obviously, it is autocratic signifying that he is the only decision-maker in his party. He gives an impression that he is shy of making a consultation within his party people. He is not consistent in his approach of making his speeches. He, in a single sentence gets furious at the high esteem and at the same time pleading Nawaz Sharif to get out of power. When he gets furious his language is always un-parliamentary and un-called for. He has exposed himself that he does not have leadership qualities at all. He mostly talks about himself when he says “if I am killed you should not spare Nawaz Sharif and all his families (kill them all)”. A true leader must talk of his people first and then talk about himself. Only with his paltry existence (about 35) he is going to demand what is totally unjustified and unrealistic. What a justice he is trying to enforce.
All the democratic forces of the country have joined hands with the democracy to protect the constitution. Almost all the members of the national assembly (300) have expressed solidarity and vowed to protect the constitution. The senate has also done so. All the civil society have moved to agitate against long marches and Imran Khan Movement.
He is very abrupt in turning against those who make any sort of judgments and decisions against him. For example, Imran Khan has turned against all the caretaker machinery, the election commission and the ex-chief Justice of Pakistan. He has partially deviated from his behavior, when USA and UK have talked in favor of the democracy in Pakistan. Imran Khan uttered some words against the USA but kept quiet for the UK. He does not want to wait at all and wants to become Prime minister instantaneously.  Expecting and realizing that the third Umpire’s finger to be risen in his favor he has totally parted his ways from the democratic means. He will only look towards the un-democratic means.
Imran Khan has parted his ways from the democratic means of getting into power. He has fallen in a ditch and he will never be able to get out of it. Those who persuaded and helped him fall into this ditch have nothing to lose but Imran Khan has totally diverted himself from objective of becoming the prime minister. He will look towards to another third umpire in his favour some other day. God forbid that ‘some other day’ should never come and even if it does it will not be what he is aspiring for.  What a sad end to Imran Khan’s political career?

"Mamooli Crickter” Vs. “A Chaprasi"

Once upon a time there were two persons (A and B) working for two different companies and engaged in selling similar products for their companies. In a bid for outselling each other a grueling talk took place between them. In the process of the debate A said that B’s caliber is of such a stature that he would not even hire B as his “Chaprasi - Peon, or Orderly”. B responded in the same talk that A was a “Mamooli Crickter – A cricketer of a small level”. Totally ignoring their previous conflict later on somehow both A and B joined hands together to sell the same products under slightly different contracts to accomplish somewhat common objectives.

To fulfill their newly set targets the so-called peon giving a piece of advice to the cricketer said that if he acted upon his advice he would be instrumental in raising him to the highest echelons of the company’s hierarchy because of his tremendous influence. The poor cricketer was so much obsessed with the idea of an instantaneous success that he failed to assess the designs of B. B, however, tried his best to fulfill his designs and influence but miserably failed. Because A was so much boastful and unrealistic in setting his targets that were impossible to achieve, now he is contemplating on demolishing the very ‘Office’ which he has been cherishing to hold for a long time. A was otherwise competent enough to hold that coveted office. Had he not set so ambitious and impossible target in a short span of time and waited for a reasonable period of time he might have accomplish that objective. He must remember that the offices and the institutions will continue to live and function for a long time but a person who thinks of demolishing it dies its death in no time and nobody will ever remember him.

Politics of Allegations

In his May 5th address at Khushab,  Imran Khan is himself admitting PMLN’s strongest accomplishments that they have made during their tenure at the Punjab Government. He is saying that the nations are not built by constructing roads. It means that he is averse to constructing roads (infrastructure) which are of paramount importance for the development of a nation. Secondly Imran Khan is saying that Shahbaz Shrif is bribing the youngsters of nation by giving them laptops. It is evident that he has given the laptops only on merit which may be hardly 5% of the total student population. If Imran Khan’ argument is accepted to be true then 90 to 95% students who have not been given the laptops must turn themselves against the PMLN. Imran Khan is advised in his own interest, to talk sense and avoid leveling baseless allegations against PMLN which he is so far treating his only opponent.
Now that Imran Khan is clamouring to enter into active politics and vowing to become one of the top leaders of the country, he should not use trivial and frivolous statements connected with the game of ‘cricket’ and ‘tsunami ‘.
Nawaz Sharif’s other political opponents should also learn lessons from the political ads he is posting on local media. One can hardly find an ad impugned against any political party. He is focusing mainly his accomplishments whereas other political parties are merely focusing on leveling false allegations on PMLN either it is PTI, PPP or PMLQ. It is evident from their ads they have nothing tangible in store to let people know anything that they have done during past tenures.
